Happy Winter, Ripples!
We had an amazing first quarter and are seeing continued progress in the second quarter. 300 students earned a 3.0 or above in Quarter 1, and our STAR test progress monitoring reports show that students are making meaningful gains in reading, math, science, and civics. We are happily honoring the best of the best with our Ripple Rockstar Student and Teacher of the Week initiative. We are also proud to report that during the Cycle 2 Survey, we exceeded our school-wide goal of a 95% attendance rate! In extracurricular news, we recently collected 1,194 food items for the Salvation Army; celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with our 1st Annual Hispanic Heritage Showcase; and took home the Boys Basketball County Championship title for the second year in a row! The basketball team is truly a group of scholar athletes; the team GPA is a 3.3, and two players have a perfect 4.0! As always, we are thankful for the continued support of the community business partners and Ripple family and friends who make it possible for EVERY day to be a GREAT day at FMMA!
Go Ripples!
